Walleye restoration and conservation in the Lake Champlain Basin 

Help Us Reach Our Goal !

LCWA is conducting a major fund raising campaign. The goal of our campaign is to raise $100,000 dollars, yes, that is right $100,000. A lofty goal to say the least. To achieve this goal would move the Walleye Restoration effort ahead by giant leaps. The funds are being raised for the following.

• Three advanced fry systems to be placed at the Bald Hill Facility. These new systems will allow the rearing of multiple strains of walleye. The end result will be more walleye going into Lake Champlain. The three systems will allow larger production of advanced fry for fingerling ponds which will in-turn mean more fingerling size fish for stocking into the Lake Champlain Basin.
   

• The construction of additional fingerling ponds. The additional ponds will give us the increased production capability for more fingerlings stocking.

Costs for these projects is estimated to be in the vicinity of $60,000 for the advanced fry systems and $40,000 for the additional ponds. We need your help!!

To date we have raised almost $60,000 and hope to have the remainder of the funds raised by early summer of 2008. You can help by going to our join LCWA page on this website. On that page you can make a donation by using your Master or Visa card via our secure server or by printing out the membership form and mailing a check to LCWA. Every donation makes a difference, a $5 donation from an individual is just as important as a $2500 Corporate donation. Help us to reach our goal, make a donation today and be a part of the Lake Champlain Walleye Restoration Program. Remember all donations to LCWA (LCWA is a 501 C-3 Corporation) are tax deductible.

Annual Boat/RV Spring Sale

LCWA is currently seeking both consignments and donations for the spring sale. Boats, motors, RV's, fishing and hunting equipment and supplies, all types of outdoor items. We can arrange pickup for larger items just call the number shown on the flyer below. Dealers are welcome and if someone has many items and would like a table call us and we will try and work something out.

Pop Up Camper Raffle

LCWA has the good fortune of having Jolley Short Stops stores as a major sponsor for the camper raffle. They have generously donated the Coleman Pop Up for this event. The drawing for the camper will be held at the LCWA Annual Banquet in March. Tickets are only $5 each or three for $10. You can obtain your tickets from any LCWA Director, go to our Join LCWA page on this website and use our secure server to purchase tickets using your Master or Visa card. You can also send a ticket order to our mailing address. If you would like to help out with selling some tickets, drop us an email and we will be glad to get you some tickets to sell.
